What to ExpectDance the night away at Ras Kitchen!Join us to learn the foundation and basic Latin dance moves of salsa and bachata. Each consecutive class, will be an attempt to build on what we learned before. But, if it's your first time, you'll also be able to follow along! A social with a live DJ will be held afterward to practice what we've learned. Classes are beginner friendly and there's no requirement to bring a partner. Meet your Instructor Kate Keiling is from Austin, Texas, and just recently moved to Temple this past year. She has always had a passion for dance and started teaching ballroom during her college years at Texas Tech. There she found a strong interest in Latin dance and has since been involved the Latin dance community around the country. It is her dream to share her passion and help grow the Latin dance community in Temple, Texas. About the Venue Ras Kitchen offers a banquet hall setting (1 room) The banquet hall offers 3400 square feet of space for classroom, meeting, reception or celebration purposes. This space is equipped for exhibit or booth space, depending on the booth concept and booth space, there is 3400 space available for creativity. There is A/V equipment available. There is catering is onsite, no outside food or drinks allowed other than celebration cake. There is beer and wine and wine based cocktails available for packages, no outside alcohol. This is an indoor, completely private venue in a sound proof space above the restaurant with private bar and his and her restrooms that could be used for dressing room space. This space is wheel chair assessable and is equipped with spiral staircase perfect for photos, and elevator.
