We'll talk about why chill filtering, caramel coloring, and 40% ABV are giveaways of commercialism, studiously avoided in craft presentations. We'll share our tasting notes and then watch a video from renowned whisky YouTuber Ralfy (ralfy.com) to compare! Featuring The Taste Buds The Taste Buds are a rotating cast of Taste cognition folks who are here to bring YOU new, unusual, and delicious pairings for your whisky, mezcal and wine needs! ​ This event has a recommended $25 donation if you did NOT donate to the conference. The donation is also optional and not required (but highly appreciated!). Attending the tasting enters you into a raffle for a secret prize! Info about Springbank 15: Region: Campbelltown Type: Single malt ABV: 46% Age: 15yrs Color: Copper Springbank 15 is a part of their core line-up. It is distilled 2.5 times before being matured in 100% sherry barrels for a minimum of 15 years. It is also bottled without any added coloring or chill filtration.
