We are celebrating 5 years!!!! OMG! We are so grateful and humble that God has allowed us to bring empowerment, inspiration and upliftment to others for these years! We do not take any of it for granted! Come celebrate this milestone with us and enjoy live music from our DJ, good food, games, giveaways, and photobooth. We will have a special "Dominique Experience" fashion show with professional models to show us "the power of our crowns" as the entertainment. There will be some phenomenal vendors in the building with wonderful products and services for sale! Don't miss this opportunity to be empowered, inspired and uplifted! Ticket costs are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. You must be registered to attend. Masks are optional at this time. We will keep you updated with any Covid safety protocols as necessary. About DWAPcfs Founder: Tonya M. Cowan, aka "Ms. Positivi-T", mother of two daughters and bonus mom to one son, is the Owner and Creative Director of As You Wish websites|engagement|marketing, a digital marketing business, Founder and Director of Designed With A Purpose cfs (aka DWAP), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers women and promotes sisterhood, and Owner of AdorAble Designz, an empowering apparel company that offers t-shirt, accessory and home good designs to inspire women. All three businesses were birthed in Durham, NC. She is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education. Her leadership, organizational and multi-tasking skills have allowed her to pursue her dream and purpose of being an entrepreneur. About the Keynote Speaker: The Dynamic, Dominique Alphonse-Sainvil, Owner of The Dominique Experience will be our Keynote Speaker and will bring a powerful message to empower, inspire and uplift us. Dominique encourages young people- especially women and girls to strive for more. Answering the call and having a yes spirit, faith driven, dependable, deep rooted visionary with a heart of gold, she captures the pure essence of lining and setting up for greater things in life. Dominique lives by and believes a strong woman and truthful woman who can accept a compliment and criticism is the main feeder of character and integrity. Dominique more than exemplifies this in her every day walk of life. About the Mistress of Ceremony: The Amazing, Marsha C. McLean, aka "Your Professional Sista" will be the MC of the event this year. She is a highly sought after Professional Counselor, Addiction Specialist and Certified Clinical Supervisor. Marsha helps mid-life career women, millennials and corporate leaders tackle serious topics with a bold, candid and humorous approach. She earned a Master’s Degree from Webster University in 2003, where her skills and expertise have afforded her the opportunity to lead a public speaking career for over 10 years. About Designed With A Purpose: Designed With A Purpose cfs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity organization created in October 2018 to empower young ladies and women. The organization helps our community as we encourage young ladies and women to preserve and pursue their dreams and be faithful in their pursuits of happiness, while allowing God to open the doors to opportunity.
