Come enjoy community, amazing live music and artisanal drinks in the heart of Livermore’s urban wine, spirits and brewery district. AJ Crawdaddy plays a mix of original blues rock and old favorites, backed by his exceptional band. As the founder of the Cave Records label, AJ Crawdaddy has collaborated with, recorded and produced the work of Blues legends, most recently the posthumous last work of John Trudell and The Bad Dog Band, an album produced by Jackson Brown and to be released this year. As a member of Pablo Cruise, he helped create hits like A Place in the Sun, Whatcha Gonna Do?, and Love Will Find A Way. This event is part of the Vasco Row Block Party! Almost Famous is an award-winning, new tasting room and venue located on Vasco Road in the heart of Livermore's wine, spirits and brewery district. Almost Famous Wine makes fifteen wines in diverse styles, and earned 34 top industry awards since our debut last year. There is a two drink minimum for each guest. Reserved table seating is available for purchase at this show. Non reserved seating is otherwise available first come, first served. Outside food is welcome, but please bus your table of any food items when you are finished. Only Almost Famous wines can be consumed on premise, but with a menu of 15 wines in diverse styles, there's something for everyone. *General admission attendees from the previous show are invited to stay! However, tables will be cleared between 7:30pm to 8 pm. ABOUT AJ CRAWDADDY Angelo J Rossi, aka “AJ Crawdaddy'' is an American Guitarist. Born in Palo Alto, California and a long time Bay Area performing artist, AJ is most well known for his work with the popular Marin based pop group, Pablo Cruise, which charted multi-platinum albums, A Place In The Sun and Worlds Away producing hits like, A Place In The Sun, Love Will Find A Way, Watcha' Gonna Do (When She Says Goodbye), Rio, Don't Wanna Live Without It, Cool Love and Slip Away. He is a BMI published writer and voting member of N.A.R.A.S. (Grammy). AJ Crawdaddy is not only an exceptional guitarist, but a producer as well. He owned and operated the Cave Recording Studio in Mountain View from 2010 - 2018, which eventually morphed into the, "Cave Records" label. He recorded, produced and worked with many local blues artists, Bruce Conte (TOP), Terry Hiatt, Steve Freund, Paula Harris, Terrie Odabi, Kid Andersen, The Lucky Losers, Ben Rice and others. He has also worked with notable musical luminaries in his vibrant career. Working with Bud Cockrell and Patti Santos on their debut album for A&M Records, "New Beginnings" penning "Run Coyote Run" for Flora Purim, hanging out with Airto, Jaco Pastorius and David Garibaldi (TOP) who all recorded on the record (1979). He's also worked with legendary record producers Tom Dowd, Bill Schnee, Bob Monaco and Jim Gains. One of his last recording projects at the Cave was with the late, Native American Beat Poet, John Trudell and The Bad Dog Band, recording their final album and John's last verse and spoken word from his hospital bed at El Camino Hospital, Mountain View, CA, in 2015. This record is currently being produced by Jackson Brown for release this year.
