Once a month, the Innovation Collective gathers local community members for a night of storytelling from local entrepreneurs, exceptional citizens, politicians or other civic leaders, and innovative minds. We designed this to be a way for curious and ambitious people to connect with others just like them--people who are creating value for their communities, looking for their next steps, figuring out their purpose, building better futures, and becoming better versions of themselves.
With the chance to hear the stories of trial and error, first failures and big wins, do's and don'ts of those who are doing it and have been for some time, the community can get inspired about the endless possibilities of innovations, and change the narrative that accessing a capitalist economy is possible for them, too.
Vera Radchuk is the owner of CDA Lake Leisure, an electric watersports company that is in their second season and expanding with new devices rapidly. She is also a mother of 5 children, and a three time cancer survivor, with unwavering strength, generosity, and a hunger for multiple entrepreneurial avenues to keep her busy and bring value to our community. Her story is unconventional, but through it she has learned more than the typical 28 year old, and she wants to share her moments of trials and triumphs.
