Memphis local band The Stupid Reasons, comprised of guitarist/vocalist Gus Carrington and drummer Daniel Wasmund, have been involved in the independent music scene in Memphis for almost a decade and have developed a loyal following. Their long-awaited debut album (Petunias) conceptually tackles both “feeling like a petunia in an onion patch” as well as life’s full circle moments—speaking of which, Gus’ own father Charley Carrington is featured on drums through much of the album and is joining the band for this special performance. Joining the concert is local rock band The Ellie Badge and rapper Rudy Rhymer.
