Maneuvering the grief journey can be illustrated by the vision of walking along a beach with powerful waves. Those waves ascend and descend with involuntary movement and sometimes knock us down. So what t do we do when we find ourselves knocked down by grief? You have two choices: Lie there without much control, or get up slowly and continue forward movement.
This conference will address two phases of grief: what to do when anticipating or preparing for death and what to do afterward. While there is not a concrete process to managing the turbulence of grief, you will be provided tools to assist in the journey and hear from two extraordinary individuals: these tools have been put into action.
