The Potomac's unique history and design combine to create a rare museum setting. Experience an intimate and informative dockside tour of this unique vessel led by a knowledgeable docent. The tours begin by watching a 15 minute video in our Visitor’s Center. The video takes you on a colorful journey from FDR’s introduction to the USS Potomac in 1936, through its decline and restoration, to its re-opening to the public in 1995. The video is following by the docent-led 45 to 60 min tour of the ship. Tours begin at 11:00AM and 12:30PM. Join us on this unique dockside tour. Welcome aboard!"
