Delano FANHS in collaboration with the Filipino Veteran Recognition and Education Project (FilVetREP) is sponsoring a ceremony to support our Filipino veterans who will be honored with a replica of the Congressional Gold Medal (CGM) for their service and sacrifice during World War II. The Filipino Veterans of World War II Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2015 was passed on November 30th, 2016, and then signed into law by President Obama on December 14, 2016. REVISED TIME: Please mark your calendar for Saturday, August 6, 2022, 10:00AM to 12:00PM, for our Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony! Doors to open at 10AM for Registration. Program begins at 10:30AM; ending at 12:00PM. Let us celebrate this momentous event with the medal recipients and their immediate families. Please REGISTER since seating is limited. Event is FREE.
