Course ContentTopics covered include: the mechanics of labor and delivery; relaxation techniques; facts about medications and anesthetics available; infant nutrition; and orientation information. Class MeetingsOne-day Saturday sessions last roughly eight hours, with a one-hour lunch break at noon. Class begins at 9 a.m. SchedulingExpectant mothers should begin classes approximately 8-10 weeks before their due date. In the event that you are unable to attend your scheduled time, please contact us, so we can offer the spot to someone else. FeesThe class is free if delivering at NRMC. If you do not deliver at NRMC, the class fee is $25.00 What should I bring to class?Above all, we encourage you to bring your significant other, a relative, or friend who will serve as the coach during your delivery.
