Hi there, I'm a recent transplant from LA, in my early thirties. Looking for other musicians of a similar age to collaborate with. I've been making music by myself for a long time, but now I'm interested in maybe being in a band again. Here's my soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/chareth-cutestory-666 We could start off by just playing some covers, playing some of my stuff/ your stuff live, and if things go well, write some original songs. I have a full time job, so this is a weekend thing for me. I'm influenced by a lot of indie rock, new wave, post-punk, synthpop, but I listen pretty widely. I'm down for anything where good pop songwriting is the main focus, both in terms of lyrics and composition. Some bands I really admire are The Radio Dept., The Sundays, HTRK, New Order, The Cure, etc. As you might guess, I like bittersweet songs that hit immediately and can make their point under three minutes. A few more things I should point out: one of my weakest areas a songwriter is production and soundcraft, so it would be cool to collaborate with someone who is skilled at these things. I'm also not very good at jamming. I write songs very deliberately and slowly. If collaborating sounds interesting to you, feel free to link anything you have written or worked on. No right-wing people please.
