bipoc femme vocalist seeking funky/jammy band

Just thought I'd reach out here to see if i could connect. I'm mostly interested in something funky, jazzy, fun, etc with a warm group of humans. Or happy to look to put something together with folx. Extroverted, music theatre kid who went to undergrad for jazz music for a bit til I change it up, read music vocal/piano, and relearning my keyboard, i play a little banjo/uke, and considering a clarinet or small sax. Can kinda pick up anything. A little rusty, but it'd be fun to jump back into it. I don't record myself playing often, happy to talk about burnout of performing and competing from my youth. My favorite karaoke song is I wanna dance with somebody. While I like taking the lead, I really like music to be a fine balance of vocals and showcasing other musicians so I really enjoy stepping back and listening to the jams and dancing and getting the crowd hyped to dance too. Something more instrumental with a good balance, jammy, with strong fun vocals. Plus if we can duet and I get to practice the keys too. Something like Orgone, Lettuce, etc.
