The Runners Band is looking for a lead vocalist/front man for our band. You don’t have to play any instrument. Along with the vocal talent, you MUST have high energy and a GOOD attitude. We are a working, gigging band, not just a garage jamming band. That means we all do our homework and when we come together for practice we’re not wasting each other’s time learning the material. Not that we expect perfection. We can all work on correcting mistakes together. Hopefully that’s something you as an artist yourself can appreciate. We have numerous gigs lined up already, and are working on booking more, so you’ll need to be a quick study and be ready to hit the ground running. We practice most every Tuesday from 2-5 PM and sometimes on Fridays from 2-5 PM. We currently have a show booked at The View House for Friday, August 26th, then The Purple Toad in Falcon on Friday September 23rd, and The Pub on Saturday October 1st. We’re working out dates and times with other venues now so more will be following. We try to play at least once a month on average. We have a good following and pretty much pack every venue that we play at. We play a good variety of material including classic rock, dance music, country, and country dance.
