Hi friends of Central Oregon! We are hiring!!! We have a small business in Bend that has been growing for 10 years. We are involved in many markets and events and we would love to add to our staff! We would specifically like for a person for Thursdays from 3pm-10pm for Munch N Music and Saturdays for NWXing Farmers market from 8am-3pm. These times include set up and tear down but are not exact. We will also pay for training day. We would love someone starting as early as the 14th of July or ASAP. Munch N Music commitment is only these dates and then it is over: July July 7th,14th, 21st, 28th, August 4th,11th. The northwest crossing farmers market is every weekend until last day on September 17. We are also hoping for a Sunday market acceptance to the Sisters market. We are on the waitlist. We have fall events and winter events every weekend so the position would continue until a week or two before Christmas and again start the following Spring. Our ideal candidate is someone who likes gig work, could be retired or likes odd jobs. Enjoys talking to people, sales, eco friendly disposition, and is great with communication. Experience in sales or events a plus and able to lift 40lbs. Has their own transportation and phone. We can only promise these weekends for now but if you also are interested in sewing or cutting fabric we may be able to fill in more work in the production area of the business. Please only apply if you are willing to commit to the current farmers market season until Mid Sept. Starting pay is Thursdays $105 and Saturdays $90 then plus your commission of sales. If you stay with us for fall and winter we can talk raises. Only serious candidates need apply. If you can commit to half the season or just one day/week we may consider hiring two people but we would prefer one well versed person to join our small team. Our other team members have been with us for 6 years, 4 years and 3 years so there is room for you to join and stay. We can work with you just message if you are serious and enjoy selling.
