Do you or someone you know suffer from chronic low back pain? Come out on July 13th for a Free Exhibit & Lunch at The Ben West Palm. We are bringing awareness to a "Mild" procedure that helps sufferers of chronic low back pain. The exhibit is open from 12pm to 5pm and free to the public.
The timing for this campaign, which is supported by the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, the National Association of Memoir Writers, and Vertos Medical, is important since opioids continue to be prescribed for low back pain, along with epidural steroid injections, and over-the-counter and prescription NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) despite an overall lack of evidence to support their efficacy and the inherent risks of these treatments. In fact one recent study, as reported in the New York Times on May 11, 2022, suggests that the overuse of NSAIDs may even worsen low back pain over time.
