Description
I adopted a loving and sweet 6 year old toy poodle last year (is now 7). Unfortunately, soon after my ex-husband told me that a member of his new household is allergic to cats and that if I couldn't take my son's cat, he would have to rehome her (no malice, just kitty allergic kids <3). My son is almost 7 and these two have been bonded since my son came home, it is his best friend and I could never take her away. I personally have an 11 year old cat that I have had as a kitten and love (I know) like a son. With apartment living, everywhere has a 2 pet max which means I have to make a sacrifice. She is pure bred toy poodle, crate trained, good with kids and cats and loves going out and about as well as car rides. Can deal with some dogs but solo is best. She can get protective over me and growl at bigger dogs when we are out, even though she is the size of a cat. Some dogs she loves and plays with, just depends on if we are at a friends house vs out and about in unknown territory. Rehoming fee to make sure she is going to somewhere that can afford her and keep her well maintained and loved. She comes with her crate, a stroller, dog bed, etc. She prefers to be clothed, isn't a fan of bows but you can get away with it sometimes, pajamas and dresses are her fav. I really don't want to rehome her but I can't get rid of my old man Max and I can't take my son's best friend away. At a loss, have to make a mom choice here.
