Hey, thanks for checking out my post. I've been playing drums for a bit over a decade, and I'm putting together a band: at least one guitarist, a bass player, a keyboard/synth player, and a vocalist. I have a Gretsch kit and Meinl Byzance cymbals, and generally go with the rack tom/floor tom/snare/bass/cymbals, although the kit can be expanded to a budget-friendly version of a fusion-y setup. I'm trying to gain some keyboard skills and knowledge, and want to get started on mallets as soon as I can. I'm certainly no technical dynamo/speed queen (or gear sl*t), but I do practice, study, improve -- and I can take constructive criticism well. I guess that is my way of explaining what sort of musicians I'd like to collaborate with, too. If any of the above piques your interest, send me a message when you get a moment.
