CARPENTER - Assistant Carpenter Euro Design Build Remodel, Richardson, TX We are eager to find the right person for a carpenter or assistant Carpenter who is hungry to learn and be part of a dedicated team that’s committed to excellence and is willing to take time to learn from the best in this amazing industry. This is a Full-Time Position for a Carpenter or Assistant Carpenter who will be working with an established award-winning team that has been making a difference in this tough and very rewarding industry. We are a small family-owned business committed to excellence and world class service. We are located in Richardson just south of Plano off of 75 and Beltline. There are about 10 of us in various roles and we are looking for the right person to be part of our construction field team as a Carpenter. Our typical operating hours are Monday-Friday from 7:45am-5:30pm and sometimes on Saturday mornings. We do expect for you to make time to come in early and at times stay later in order to get things ready for the next day. All of this is not to say that this is a 50+ hour per week job every week, it’s not. We are a company that is respectful of your personal time and are flexible when you are contributing to the team and our company. We just believe in being upfront and honest with the work expectations and we expect the same from you. If this is something you know you are good at, here are the details of the compensation. To qualify for this position, you must possess the following: • Hungry for knowledge • Integrity • Caring • Minimum 5 years of construction experience • Must have a passion for details and excellence • Rough and trim carpentry skills including cut-ins, and some knowledge of construction methods and techniques • Must have a good working knowledge of related building trades • The ability to interact with other team members, subcontractors, and company leaders • Teaching skills and willingness to help and assist others • Must be available for extended work hours, when needed • Must have reliable work vehicle • The ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis, including lifting 100 lbs. • TEXAS Driver’s License and a good driving record • References - We need and will check your references. If you do not have good references, this will be a waste of time for both of us. • Willingness to do all kinds of various tasks for each department in our company, even if the task might not be in your job description. So, if you are the type that tells others, ‘that’s not my job’, this isn’t the job for you. • You need to be the person that our other employees deserve to have working alongside them. • If you are not willing to pitch in when you see one of your co-workers struggling, this is not your home.
