Begin Again Horse Rescue is looking for a new Equine Manager. This job is part time, about 30 hrs a week. Candidates must have professional equine experience as a manager, trainer, or related. The position includes but is not limited to ordering supplies, holding horses for appointments, working with rescue horses on groundwork and under saddle, recordkeeping, supervising volunteers, some farm maintenance, using tractor, spreader, UTV. Good communication skills are key, as well as a understanding approach to dealing with rescues. Must live within 30 minutes of Lima, NY. Must be flexible with weekday scheduling and be able to work Sundays.
