Dynalloy, the leader in Shape Memory Alloy Actuating Wire has an immediate opening for a Machinist in Training/Shop Helper. You will work closely with your manager for a long time during which you will acquire new skills and build expertise. This is a position we are hoping to grow into being an independent machinist. Qualifications: •Must be able to lift 40lbs. •Comfortable with computers. •Paying attention to detail is a MUST. •Basic math and geometry skills are needed. •Ability to cut raw materials and setting up machines under supervision to start. Responsibilities: •No experience is needed we will train you, but you must be eager to work and learn. •Will be constantly working on feet/moving around. •Working with hands on small detail-oriented projects/products that people use. •Experience with hand tools and shop equipment is a plus. For examples, drills and saws. •Clamping raw materials, identify the correct tools and setting up CNC machines. •Experience with CNC machine equipment is a plus. •Running the programs and then deburring and inspecting parts. Pay: $18/hr Benefits: •Medical insurance •Paid time off •Paid holidays •Roth IRA Hours: •Set hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00AM – 5:30PM. •Must have open availability for Monday - Friday from 4:00AM – 8:00PM.
