Drummer looking for musicians for collaboration

A life long multi-instrument musician - primarily drumming, looking for other musicians, lyricists, poets, etc. to see if we fit and work well together. Specifically looking for a bass player (over a guitar player that picks up the bass), but really any musicians and creatives that want to explore/advance their own self while collectively building projects that include performing live, writing originals or unique covers and inspiring others. I'm committed and serious, talent and experience is not a requirement. If we get along and click, all I ask is consistency and challenging yourself with a willingness to help fellow musicians learn from one another. Currently rent a practice studio in Oakland so we have our own space to explore where we want to go. My influences are vast, but specifically my style is New Orleans second-line, funk, jazz and hip-hop. But also love most musical styles and grew up in the grunge era. I'm an odd, against the grain type who is looking to do something different but very easy to get along with. Driven to work hard with passion while respecting the community and having self-awareness to deliver a message that lifts others up; not just jamming or performing for the sake of ego.
