Biggest influence is THE STONES...& SOME GIRLS is the bible. We have an album's worth of material ready to go. We all live in San Francisco. All working-class n' around 40 y/o. All been in dozens of bands before -- it ain't no one's first rodeo. Looking for a DRUMMER 'round age 30 to 50, who has solid chops. In San Francisco or San Mateo Co. who has a car. Could be a tiny 1990 Civic... but a car nevertheless. // We sure ain't Maiden or Rush! They rock... but we ain't a double-bass-pedal-band, & we don't wanna be. It ain't always what ya play, sometimes it's what ya don't. Goals of this group are: do 6 local gigs a year, & put out some cassettes & vinyl occasionally. A low-key, 1-t-shirt-design band. (Have a cassette in the works now, will be out by Halloween.) Practice Once a week. Currently: Tuesday in SF, at an hourly studio, 'round 4:00 to 7:30 pm time frame. Early bird time works for us, so please reply if ya can swing this easily. 52 weeks in a year... we might practice ~45 times a year then. // If we all get on well, we could do a different weekday (Mon. - Thur.) or a different practice space. We are open to all races, genders, & sexualities. We are proud liberal bastards.
