Bearded Dragon for adoption - 1y/o male

This is Kusho, my Male bearded dragon. He is approximately 1 year old, 18” long from head to tail-tip. I purchased him last fall from Dachiu Dragons – a well-renowned breeder in California (initial cost $200). Genetically, they described him as “hypotranslucent”, giving him all-black eyes and vivid reddish-orange coloring. I have chosen to put him up for adoption as I am moving across the country for grad school in a month and cannot take him with me. I believe $300 is a very fair asking price for all of the equipment, including the cost of rehoming. He has consistently received a healthy variety calcium-dusted live insects like crickets, dubia roaches, and superworms, with the occasional hornworm. I also feed him a variety of fresh greens and vegetables. He has always had sufficient heating from a heat bulb, and UVB from a T8 10.0 bulb. The current tank is 36”L x 18”W x 24”H. Everything in the tank is included, including the 100W heat lamp, UVB, hammock, basking rock, etc. I will also give you whatever insects or supplies are left over. If you have never owned a bearded dragon before, please do some preliminary research. Kusho does not often poop in his tank since I bathe him about every three days – he usually relieves himself then. I recommend you do this too as it makes clean up way easier. He is very tolerant of handling and behaves very calmly when resting on your shirt/lap. Bell peppers, green beans, and butternut squash are some of his favorite foods – but nothing gets him excited like some dubia roaches! I am located in Hutchinson, KS.
