Silo Ridge Field Club is currently seeking reliable team players that are highly motivated with excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. All members of the staff are considered to be an integral part of the team. We are looking for Facility Maintenance Technicians to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and routine maintenance duties. You will be responsible for applying basic repairs to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have some experience with construction repairs and possess plenty of common sense to adapt to new job duties and skills. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Key Responsibilities Performs various duties involving plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and ventilation systems. Provide detailed reports of expenses, labor, materials and other associated costs for each task or project Communicate information related to tasks and projects that will impact service within a specific department Keep work areas neat, organized and clean-up job sites appropriately Maintain adequate inventory of necessary parts Perform routine preventive maintenance on all of the departments equipment Identify any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs Responds to on call after hours emergencies, as needed Maintain and safe and orderly work environment Skills and Qualifications Expert knowledge of general maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, major and minor appliances, pool and spa equipment Knowledge of and ability to operate computer and communication platforms (i.e Jonas, Club Essentials, Alice) Must have valid driver’s license Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than four (4) hours, and lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling About Discovery Land Company Founded in 1994 by Michael S.
