Seeking: AMAZING customer service-oriented maintenance technicians/handymen for a stable job with growth! Job Purpose: Help maintain commercial buildings and grounds/parking areas by performing a wide variety of general maintenance repairs, services, and routine cleaning/housekeeping functions, as assigned on a work order basis. Duties: * Perform corrective and preventive plumbing maintenance (e.g. clean and unclog sinks, toilets, floor drains, repair sink faucets and toilet flushometers). * Inspect leaks to determine if they are sourced from roof, plumbing, or HVAC lines. * Perform corrective and preventive maintenance using tools and equipment as required (e.g. repair shelves and cabinets, replace ceiling tiles, patch and paint drywall, repair floor tiles, replace vinyl base molding, minor repairs on locks and doors, etc.). * Perform light electrical repairs (e.g. electrical maintenance on receptacles and light switches, replace light bulbs and ballasts). * Complete work orders and preventive maintenance paperwork in a timely and professional manner. * Enhance maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. * Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Skills/qualifications: * Good work ethic - kind, courteous, stand behind your word. * Must have a current drivers license and own transportation. * General knowledge of carpentry, drywall repair, basic electricity, painting, plumbing and HVAC and/or willingness to learn. * Ability to work independently but in communication with a team. * Must have good oral and written communication skills. * Must be able to move/lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders, work at heights and be proficient in the use of common hand and power tools. * Ability to work various schedules and shifts, including taking 24/7 "on call." * Ability to effectively manage and respond to emergency situations. * Must be clean/neat.
