Busy, established cat-sitting company currently looking to hire experienced cat sitters to work in Brooklyn. Sitters needed who are willing to go to multiple Brooklyn neighborhoods for assignments. This is a part-time position, perfect for grad students, artists, freelancers, etc., to earn some pocket money. We cannot guarantee a certain amount of hours or income, but summer and holidays are the busiest times. Weekends are the busiest times, of course, so if you travel on the weekends frequently, I would have very few jobs for you. Experience with administering medications (oral, topical, eye, ear, insulin, fluids) is a definite plus, but not required. Criminal background check will be required. You would be an independent contractor, and taxes would not be taken out of your pay – you will be issued a 1099 at the end of the tax year and be responsible for your own tax burden.
