Description

Learn the basics of operating a CNC Router and get some hands on experience at the same time! This class will cover the device itself, endmills, software options, and how to safely operate the machine. Click here if you want to view current class materials. No prior knowledge required. Bring a laptop or notepad to take some notes. Makerspace members who complete this course will be certified to use the North End Makerspace Millright Mega V CNC. We also offer unlimited use of VCarve Pro to our members. For your personal safety, please wear closed-toe shoes, tie long hair back, and avoid any dangling jewelry or baggy clothing. How to find us: We are in the first floor of the apartment building. Enter the main door and proceed past the elevators. Take the first hallway to the right. Exterior doors lock at 8:30pm. If you are not a member with a door code, please plan to arrive before then. Parking is street parking and plentiful in the area. Proof of vaccination required. You may email this ahead of time to [email protected]. Masks and social distancing enforced. North End Makers is a community that runs a makerspace in North Seattle.
