Rough Openings LLC, a Marvin window and door installation company, has immediate openings for both a carpenter and laborer. Looking for motivated individuals with good work ethics, who are looking to learn and grow with the company. Must have a valid drivers license and transportation, and be able to pass a CORI background check - as work on school campuses is fairly frequent. Carpenter tasks include, but are not limited to: demoing old windows (as required), prepping openings, installing and flashing new units, trimming of interior and exterior (as required). Knowledge of basic framing is preffered but not required, attention to detail and ability to understand shop drawings required. Job positions require travel around the state, travel time pay is included. Laborer tasks include, but are not limited to: keeping a clean job site, unloading and moving windows around, prepping openings, assisting as required. This position will also have opportunites to learn the trade and grow within the company. Rough Openings exclusively installs the Marvin brands of product ranging from small residential renovation/replacement to large scale, high end construction as well as light grade commercial installations. We install all over southern and central New Hampshire as well as surrounding areas. The large majority of our work is around Winnipesaukee but the summer is usually dedicated to large school installs. Some installs are units only and others are full install with finish work as well where employees need a good understanding and/or willingness to learn proper trim and finish technique.
