Hear from 4 hiring managers across industries and company sizes as they share what makes a great PM candidate. Meet our 4 panelists: 1. Parul Shorey is a Director of Product Management at Compass leading their CRM products. She has over 19 years of experience in the technology industry,12 focused in product. Prior to Compass, Parul headed OfferUp's core marketplace product, and eBay's Alternate delivery shipping programs. A champion for those wanting to break into product, she serves on the Advisory Board for UW Product Management and is a Chapter Lead for Women in Product Seattle. 2. Anavi Nahar - Principal PM Manager at Microsoft https://www.linkedin.com/in/anavi-n Anavi is the Principal PM lead for Azure’s Load Balancer and NAT Gateway product suite at Microsoft. She has been in the product management space for 6 years. She is a champion for university recruiting for Azure and is a Board Member for the Women in Product Seattle chapter. Outside of work, Anavi enjoys hiking, knitting, finding ways to be more sustainable, and traveling. 3. Gayathri Venkataraman - Sr Director of Product Management at DocuSign http://linkedin.com/in/gayathri-venkataraman-361915 Gayathri (aka G3) is a Sr Director of Product Management at Docusign. Her areas of influence include Search, Data & Information Platform. Prior to joining Docusign, Gayathri had a long tenure at Microsoft as a Product Manager with a breadth of experience from UX to backend services working in Office 365 Microsoft Search, Bing Search and SQL Server. She is a diversity and recruiting champion and allies with her colleagues in her org to promote inclusion. G3 has a Masters degree in Computer Information Science & Engineering from University of Florida. She lives in Bellevue with her husband and 2 daughters. 4. Vlad Joanovic - Partner PM Manager at Microsoft https://www.linkedin.com/in/vlad-joanovic-836766/ ​​Vlad Joanovic is a product manager and works in the Azure Core\Cloud native team on Azure resource manager, Governance, Deployment, Terraform, PowerShell and CLI. Previously, Vlad was leading portal experiences for the compute, network and storage services and before that on Application Insights helping developers ensure their applications are available, performing and succeeding throughout the application lifecycle. Vlad has spent over 2 decades working with IT, Ops and developers across both cloud and on-prem scenarios and helping all companies digitally transform. Vlad graduated with a Bachelors of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo and lives in Seattle with his wife, 3 kids, dog and 6 chickens. In his spare time he can be found renovating a turn of the century home in Seattle's Madrona neighborhood. She earned her Bachelors in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
