Frankfort Sunflower Festival Mullet and Beard Contest Free family event to attend. Contestants will have a registration fee. Pre-register for a discounted entry fee of $7. $10 Registration fee for day of registration. Location: Main Stage at the Sunflower Festival Mullet Categories 12 and under 13-18 19 and older Trophies awared for 1st-3rd in each age group. Beard contest Is open to anyone who can grow a beard. Trophies awarded for 1st-3rd place will be given Winners will be determined by a point system. Size (10 points) The overall length of the hair. Beards will be measured from the bottom lip to the end of the longest hair follicle laying naturally not stretched. Mullets will be measured from the top of the head to the longest hair follicle laying naturally not stretched. Style and Presentation (20 points) Contestants' attitude, attention to the crowd, attire, and overall look Dazzle (10 points) How you portray yourself and your hairstyle through costume and stage presence. Rules: All mullets and facial hair must be grown by the participant. No fake hair, wigs, extensions, or artificial hair will be accepted. This is a family event. No vulgar or non-family-friendly costumes allowed.
