Sekhmet is the Solar goddess of the Egyptian Pantheon, and the Crone aspect of the trinity of Hathor - Bast - Sekhmet and she is the goddess of healing, protection and sovereignty. This “Goddess of 1,000 names” is traditionally depicted as a woman with the head of a lioness dressed in blood red.
