Join us for an evening where participants will prepare and enjoy a meal based on the fruits and vegetables grown by Sustain DuPage Gardeners!
The menu for this event is inspired by the cuisine of Vietnam and may include:
Vietnamese cole slaw
Summer Squash soup
Stir-fried summer greens and vegetables with rice
Tofu custard with summer berries for dessert! **All dishes for this event are vegan and gluten-free.**
This event will be held indoors in the basement kitchen of the Theosophical Society's main building.
All skill levels are welcome to participate, although minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Although this is a 3 hour event, you are not required to stay the entire time-- though you certainly won't want to miss the meal! Please bring tupperware in case you would like to take home any leftovers.
DINNER SCHEDULE
6-7pm Prep and cooking
7-8pm Serving and Eating
8-9pm Cleanup, and Leftovers!
