East Central CIT council has been providing this 40 hour CIT training since 2017. It is free to participants and POST approved. Participants requesting POST credit must attend all 40 hours. Breakfast and lunch are provided all 5 days. Dress is business casual. This collaboration between local first responders and mental health professionals will provide participants with the tools they need to sucessfully de-escalate and resolve behavioral health crisises.
