Join Courtney Danner, Parent Educator, military spouse, and mom of four, for a discussion about supporting kids at school through a deployment.Military families are invited to participate in a meet and greet at Georgetown Project: Bridges to Growth to talk about when the right time to inform teachers about deployment is. Discussing these types of events in a child’s life can help impact their school performance and behaviors in the classroom. Come learn the best practices to communicate before, during and after deployment with your child’s teacher to ensure educational growth for your child.
