Groundskeeper Position Now Available
Santa Cruz Memorial is looking to hire Groundskeepers.
Duties will include:
- Operation of powered equipment
- String trimming
- Blowing
- Mowing (push and zero turn rider)
- General cleaning of Cemetery Grounds
- Setting of headstones and monuments
- Assist with loading and unloading caskets
- Help with preparation and setup for opening and closing interments, entombments and inurnments
- Assist with irrigation repairs
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
- Drivers License
- 6+ months previous landscape experience required
- References
Compensation:
- $15-$19/hour depending on experience
- Benefits after completion of 90 days
- Six paid holidays per year
- Accrual of paid vacation time after completion of first year
