Our initial artisan confirm is our neighbor Monica, who creates one of a kind reusable bags! We will be her first introduction to the community! Artist statement: "After almost 30 years in the Corporate World, I've found my bliss making these bags.Hope you find yours!" Including, "Japanese knot bags; which hold all your essentials, knitting yarn and needles!" Our young neighborhood artisan, Ellie, will be with us on the 23rd! She creates gorgeous, joy filled, kiln fired glass, hand poured resin pieces, and more! So much heart goes into all she does. Make sure to ask her about her inspiration! We are fortunate to be the first (and I believe only) ones she shares her talents with 💕 I know everyone else will be as excited as I am about this one! Lindsay will join for the first time. She runs a small cottage bakery called P.S. I Love U Cookies 💕 She will bring basic cookies along with decorated sugar cookies, brownies, lemon drop cookie cups, and bundt cake slices for us! We have another new artisan joining us on the 23rd! Our neighbor Sandy is a wood turner who creates exquisite utilitarian objects including cutting boards, plastic bottle and bag drying racks, seam rippers, pepper mills, and more! She uses wood that is sustainably grown and harvested 💕 Corey Jones, writer, mental health advocate, and blackout poetry creator will join us again! She even has new messenger bags to carry her message through your day 💕 Dan and Athelia WILL be with us on the 23rd, with their beautiful eggs laid by utterly loved hens 💕 We are beyond fortunate to be the only community they grace. Their eggs are unrefrigerated, and unwashed (Google it if you don't know how this ups the quality! I did not know). They hand label each egg with the day it was laid. They have gifted us with pics and bios of each hen, and give a 50 cent discount with returned cartons. The largest, most well funded, markets don't have anything this good! Our astounding Christina will join us! The variety of gorgeous creations that come from this woman's hands are beyond description! Now for the amazing gift Christina will bring! An aerial performance 💕 Megan, will bring her "Chakra healing gemstone jewelry for adults and children" Jessica , will join us for the first time in a very beautiful way. She has nurtured a lush garden of plant babies to bring on the 23rd, with all profits going to Furkids Animal Rescue and the Feminist Women's Health Center! -Good on every level. Thank you Jessica! (When you toss in the fact that the market is all about saving our historic communal space, we basically now have a resident saint 😊) Tessi should be with us. The eclectic creativity she offers is indescribable I aim to bring paletas, acqua fresca (we will need the cooling!), healing peppermint clay mask (containing a clay that is only found in Central America), geranium oil/rose water insect repellent, handmade precious and semi precious jewelry, photographs, and exotic green onion babies. -All organic, vegan, and gluten free 💕 Our local photographer and art teacher, Kristene Brook Moore, will open her studio for mini sessions!
