NOTE: This is a discussion group. This is not a dog training group and dogs do not attend. This discussion group exists to provide moral support and positive reinforcement ideas for caretakers (owners or fosters) of fearful or aggressive dogs. Living with a reactive dog can be stressful. In this group, we strive to emphasize not just how to care for your dog, but how you can make caring for a reactive dogs little easier for you. It's also a place to share your victories and struggles with others who understand. We invite you to gather here at our clinic on the last Saturday of each month to get and give support. The group facilitator will lead the discussion and provide talking points, handouts, and other resources. The group is led by PRCKC volunteer Cathy Nash-Petersen, a trained support group facilitator and caretaker of a dog with special behavioral needs.
