The Temple of the Creative Flame invites you to join us for an introduction and initiation into a personalized, yet community oriented, spiritual practice. A spiritual practice is defined as "regular and intentional activity that establishes, develops, and nourishes a personal relationship with the Divine in which we allow ourselves to be transformed." Our ritual is an adaptation of the FOI Rite of the Five Elements - Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Spirit. It is an invocative hymn through which we gather in celebration of the Full Moon energies. It is a joining of the inner and the outer, the above and the below, the mundane and the Divine within us all. For the purpose of this ritual we focus on Nephthys and Isis as Sisters who together bring life and death….dawn of the new day and dusk at the beginning of night. Masks are also suggested but not required A love donation is suggested Since 2016 The Temple of the Creative Flame - Seshat’s Portal has been formally associated with the Fellowship of Isis (FOI). First, as an Iseum or “Hearth of the Goddess” in 2017 we became a Lyceum which added the capacity to be a recognized teaching center. As such we have offered numerous programs in person and remotely. In keeping with the FOI guidelines, there is no particular established structure for the content of our teachings. We offer programs, rituals, and ceremonies that come through inspiration and connection with our personal Deities which makes our programs unique yet grounded in service to Goddess.
