Back by popular demand! Tickets won't last, so grab them today! This ultra-popular workshop is the perfect introduction to needle felting, and even a great project for seasoned felters. We will cover the basics and make these adorable felted birds, which can be turned into ornaments, given as gifts, or kept for decorating. We'll cover the basics of needle felting including tools and materials, sculpting, attaching, smoothing, and more. All materials are provided. Masks are now optional for those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If you are sick, or think you are, please stay home. The Salty Owl Studio is on the second floor of an historic building in Downtown Kalamazoo. Please reach out if you need accommodations. *This workshop is designed for people ages 8 and up, and requires fine motor skills and dexterity that may be a challenge for some younger kiddos. They will also be provided with finger guards to help prevent pokes. Despite these best practices, pokes do happen, even to seasoned felters!
