A zine is basically a DIY magazine or self-published booklet typically motivated by self-expression, artistic passion, or political action. Zines are created and bound in many ways, like stapling, sewing, taping, or gluing pages into simple pamphlets. They may also exist in unbound and other non-folio formats. The main rule is there are no rules! A zine's content may be written, drawn, printed, collaged, or any other form of combining words and imagery—a zine’s structure may be narrative, journalistic, comic-like, or completely abstract! It's all up to you. All materials will be provided for you to create your very own zine! tickets are sliding scale $5-$20! all donations go back into community events. nobody turned away for lack of funds. RSVP on eventbrite or pay at the door! feel free to bring a a blanket or pillow for additional floor seating, ear plugs/headphones in case of overstimulation, a comfort object (a stuffed animal, security blanket, sweater, etc.), or anything else you may need!
