Alder Health Services is a non-profit Central PA service organization based in Harrisburg, Pa. We are committed to the health, education, and support of the LGBTQIA+ community and provide everyday services such as STI testing, health education, and primary healthcare to Central Pennsylvania residents. To provide these services, we raise funds by having events and programs throughout the year. This year, Alder Health is interested in having a Labor Day Drag Show. It shall be called, “Labor of Love” and will take place the first Friday in September, 9/2/2022, (Labor Day weekend). It will be held at Stallions, Inc. held on the second floor from 10:00pm until 1:00am. We will sell tickets ahead of time as well as having them at the door on the night of the event. The cost shall be 15.00 per ticket and will be the donation to the charity. Alder Health will have someone present at the door for ticket sales in addition to Stallions staff. Tickets will be sold at the door for $20. Drag performers will be provided by Alder Health Services in conjunction with your sound/light support staff for the performances. Alder is expected to have 5 performers throughout the evening, one of which will be the host of the event. Performers are permitted to keep all tips they receive throughout the evening. This event will be a large fundraiser for Alder Health Services and will help continue funding programs and providing condoms and prevention materials for the LGBTQ+ community.
