Description

I am hiring two coaching positions to help with the Waukesha County Fair From July 20-24 for an axe throwing booth. The hours of the fair are: Wednesday, July 20............ 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm Thursday, July 21.................... 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm Friday, July 22......................... 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm Saturday, July 23.................... 10:00 am - 10:00 pm Sunday, July 24...................... 10:00 am - 8:00 pm Shifts will be split, so the first shift on Wednesday will start at 11 am and end at 7:30 pm. The second shift will start at 2:00 pm and end at 10:30 pm. Employees will be expected to work 8 hours a day with a 30 minute lunch break. You will need to arrive one hour prior to the fair hours for the first shift and can expect to stay 30 minutes after the fair closes to help with packing up for the second shift. Employees should expect to work 40 hours or less, depending on their availability. Here are the basic responsibilities for the two positions. Also, worth saying explicitly because county fairs are notorious for under the table gigs, this is a W2 position and pay will be processed via check and direct deposit. Waiver/Merch Attendant - $10+/hour Greet fair attendees, help them sign waivers, confirm receipt of waiver online or paper form, stamp hands of folks who have filled out a waiver, make sure minors have an adult present or (16 & 17 year olds only) have a parent sign a waiver. Conduct sales of merchandise and tournament entries as well as assist with tournament management. If you are interested, please COPY AND PASTE everything below this line, file it out, and email it to me. Resume is optional. Thank you for your interest and I hope you have a great summer! Name: Email: Phone Number: City, State: Questions: 1. What experience do you have working for in-person marketing events, in customer service roles, or any other public-facing position? 2.
