Toad, #A4744110, came to the shelter soft and wiggly - typical for a 1 yr. old dog. YES! He is still a puppy! This adorable pupper didn't appear to have any experience being on leash, but he's a fast learner! He starts off with a little zig-zagging but once you point him in the right direction, he walks quite well. Smart boy! 👍 When out on walks, he doesn't have much reaction to other dogs. If he had some time ⏰ for decompression in a home, he might be okay meeting other dogs in a nice, slow safe manner. Out in the play yard, he will sit for treats, lean his whole dang body against you (aggressive snuggle alert!) ❤️and loves splashing in the kiddy pool! He has SO.MUCH.POTENTIAL‼️ Puppy Toad is said to be jumping and spinning in the kennel. This is the shelter’s reason to euthanize him on 7/10/22 at 5 pm. 😭 If interested in meeting/adopting this guy he MUST be adopted by close of business on 7/10/22.
