Seeking out other amateurs/newbies or those who are passionate about film making, acting, or writing to do an indie project together.... I have an MFA in creative writing and have written several screen-shorts that I want to bring to life on film. The one I am focusing on first is a gritty story about life in the rustbelt and "getting it together" against all odds, with a twist ending. Think 30 minute mini movie with a Twilight Zone or M. Night Shyamalan type appeal. Details: I'm just as poor as the rest of us local artists, but willing to pay a small hourly fee to make it worth someones time who genuinely wants to create. Not trying to insult someone with a low-ball offer... just trying to try to compensate with what little I have to make it worth your time. I know NOTHING about filmmaking, but everything about writing, marketing, etc. I can bring a great script to the table, find the actors, locations, etc-- just need to collaborate with others for the actual filming, production, editing and direction.
