Description

We are looking for a Driver to transport confection / Candy products to various stores though out the Puget Sound in a safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, Follow each route in order based on road and traffic conditions and occasionally managing payments. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction. Stores depend on us for their transportation needs and deliver their goods safely and efficiently. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no major traffic violations. Note that you will be provided with a comfortable 2021 Mercedes-Benz Transport van. Job Responsibilities • You will be provided with mapped out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip • Pick up Transit Van and drive directly to our Inventory Location. • Pick up Product from Inventory location and load up your van for the day. • Go From Store to Store dropping off and fulfilling orders for our clients • Collect payments and issue receipts. • Assist clients with loading and unloading boxes at the stores. • Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions • Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed • Answer clients’ questions products and possible future delivery concerns • Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes • Follow routes and time schedule • Complete logs and reports • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes • Follow routes and time schedule • Complete logs and reports • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Job Skills and Qualifications • Proven experience as a Driver but willing to train. • A valid driver’s license • A clean driving record • Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50) • Familiarity with GPS devices • Ability to lift heavy packages and products • A polite and professional disposition • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour) • A high school diploma Work is MONDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 7 AM TO 330 PM with 30 min break SPANISH AND ENGLISH SPEAKING.
