Job Description Apartment community in Port Jefferson Station is seeking a Maintenance Person to become part of our team. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Completing work order requests, adhering to maintenance priorities. • Be responsible for inventory and stocking of supplies/materials. • Preventive maintenance. • Participate in an on-call schedule for evening, weekend, holiday and emergency coverage. • Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment • Ensure effective, timely and professional interactions with residents, contractors and property management team on all maintenance services provided • Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS • Basic knowledge of: • General repairs/maintenance work (appliance repair knowledge a plus) • Basic appliance and HVAC repair (replacing fixtures, installing parts) • Plumbing, electrical and carpentry • 1-3 years’ experience in maintenance, facilities, or field with related skills • Must have valid/clean Driver's license • Full time position 40 hours per week Starting @ $22.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time email resume to [email protected]
