Looking for a good home. Meet Alfred or “Big Al” as we call him. He is a 2 year old Newfoundland/St. Bernard mix. We got him as a puppy. He is the sweetest, loving dog you’ll find. He loves his humans and the interaction. He is partially house trained. He does well when he’s with the family inside but left inside an open area he can get bored and fill his boredom with his own shenanigans. It breaks our hearts to re-home him but he is not turning out to be a protector of our farm birds but actually quite the predator. We have re trained our dogs in the past to go against this instinct but it is not working for him unfortunately. He is great with adults, kids, & cats but not farm birds. If you are looking for an awesome larger dog for your family, Big Al is the guy for you. He up-to-date on his shots, fleas and de worming, bathed and had his summer shave. Neutered We are looking to re-home him to a nice family that wouldn’t mind us visiting him from time to time. Please email us if you have any interests. Asking a $250 rehoming fee and he has a new Halo collar (wireless fence system) that can go with him if needed that is an additional $650.
