We're currently hiring for Locator Technicians in Denver, CO! Experienced Locators are preferred, but we are also accepting inexperienced applicants and will provide paid training! Starting wage ranging from $20-$25/hour depending on experience. All of our field technicians are provided with: Safety gear including company boot (allowance), vests, glasses, etc. Military-grade computer device The company issued truck with home garaging privileges Company fuel card (yes, we pay your gas!) Responsibilities: Line locators will work under the direction of their company supervisor, performing work that involves visual inspection of predefined construction areas and reading and interpretation of utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities, while using special electronic equipment to locate and protect the utility from being damaged. Some of these utilities include gas, electric, water, cable, sewer and more. Requirements: High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings: Drug test, background check, and driving record Upon employment, subject to random drug testing in compliance with DOT guidelines Working Conditions and Hours: Outdoor work environment: up to 10-12 miles of walking on different terrains Driving company vehicle to and from work sites Normal working hours are 7am - 5pm Monday through Friday; limited work hours on weekends except for periodic on-call duty and mass workloads Knowledge and Abilities: Successfully complete the company’s training program and pass applicable written and field tests Develop a general knowledge of state and local damage prevention regulations Learn and apply safety measure relating to motor vehicle operation and other field related matters If you want to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply today!
