Established (not start-up) Monteagle based Classic Rock 4 piece band looking for experienced Bass Player with Vocals. We have played 9 paid gigs since Mid-March. Band has 3 others with Lead & BGV capability and likes plenty of harmony vocals. Instrumentation consists of Keys, Guitar, Drums (Electronic), & Bass. We like to play controlled volume and go for quality of sound.
Rehearsals in Monteagle. We do rehearse as you cannot fake 3- and 4-piece harmony. We also try very hard to play the music like original arrangement and parts, but recognize the band is limited to 4 members and thus some flexibility in our versions. We do tune to 439 pitch and also have some key changes from original versions. Our mix of music is intentionally diverse so we appeal to a wide range of people. Late 60’s – 90’s. Radio hits, danceable, toe tapping, with even some slow tunes for the appropriate venue. While we may play an occasional tune from other musical styles, we are not a Blues Band, a Southern Rock Band, and a Country Band, an R& B band, etc. Classic Rock is our main focus. Think Bad Company, Petty, Fleetwood Mac, CCR, Seger, Doobie Brothers, Aerosmith, Foreigner, Lenny Kravitz, Eagles, Bon Jovi, Black Crows, Mellencamp, etc.
