There are dozens of posts regarding abortion rights, gun regulations, police violence, climate change, Trump/Biden and more, but people don't seem to be keeping up with the fact that World War III has begun. The similarities of aggression in the name of "ethnic cleansing", "liberating oppressed people" "annexing" free countries and rebuilding empires of the past, between Nazi Germany and today's Russia are frightening. Putin considers himself the modern Peter the Great and intends to continue Russian aggression until he conquers all of the countries that were once part of the Soviet Union, or until we stop him. There are those who say, "Give him the Donbas and he will be happy". Appeasement didn't stop Hitler, nor will it stop Putin. The brave people of Ukraine are determined with their lives to protect their homeland, but they need the weapons to be victorious. This may be cold, but better their blood with our weapons than our blood with our weapons. We need to stop Putin now in Ukraine, or we will be facing him in Poland, Finland and other Nato countries, or in Alaska. We see this now in Ukraine, but it is also just around the corner when China will make its move on Taiwan.
